IPTC MetaDat are additional data (stored in the jpg picture file) according to a specification designed and maintained by the members of the IPTC (International Press Telecommunicatiosn Council) Standards Committee. Typical data are: creator name, Description, Copyright note, Source, Subject, Keywords ...

PhotoRenamer reads and displays the IPTC MetaData of the pictures (if those data are available).
