PhotoRenamer 1.2 is a Windows Utility that rename your photos with the date and time you take the shot.

Depending on the manufacturer, when you download your photos to your PC, the filenames look like IMG_0160.jpg, IMG_0161.jpg, IMG_0162.jpg, ... Some systems allow customization, some not ...

Using PhotoRenamer 1.2, in a click of a mouse, all the photos of a directory are renamed using the following mask:
DD-MMM-YYY-HH-MM-SS

You can also define a prefix so tha picture name be customized as Jim_DD-MMM-YYYY-HH-MM-SS.


How to Use PhotoRenamer 1.2

First of all, download the application. Create a directory (standard recommendation is C:\Program Files\PhotoRenamer) and unzip the file PhotoRenamer.zip into that directory.
  1. Download your photos using your usual procedure
  2. Start PhotoRenamer 1.2 and click on the Browse Button




  3. Click on the Rename Button to Start the Renaming Operation ...




  4. You can changed the prefix at any time ... And increase the size of the window to check results ....




  5. That's it !!!
